Cycling is a pleasure in the Vallée du Loir!
Saddle up and follow these 9 loops (from 16 to 50 kms). Forests, vineyards, ponds or meadows, each route takes you on a journey through unspoilt countryside. From Ruillé-sur-Loir, via La Chartre-sur-le-Loir and Marçon, to the remarkable gardens of Le Lude and even as far as La Flèche, you can admire the landscapes of the Vallée du Loir. Easy to get to, these loops offer something for everyone, from novices to experienced cyclists.
In the Vallée du Loir, you can also take advantage of over 110km of safe greenway routes on former railway lines:
- 33km between Montval-sur-Loir and Bessé-sur-Braye
- 20km between Le Lude – Luché-Pringé and La Flèche
- 26 km between La Flèche – Baugé en Anjou and Cuon
- 10 kms between La Flèche and Durtal
- 27 km between La Flèche and La Suze-sur-Sarthe
The greenway between La Flèche and La Suze-sur-Sarthe has been open since June 2025. For 27 kilometres, you can follow the old railway line that linked La Suze to La Flèche, passing through Villaines-sous-Malicorne and Malicorne-sur-Sarthe.
