Your stay begins in La Flèche, a lively town where the River Loir flows through tree-lined quays at Port Luneau and lively little squares. As soon as you arrive, you’re invited to take the time to stroll through the centre with its Prytanée National Militaire, local shops and many welcoming terraces… the atmosphere is gentle and authentic.
In the afternoon, head off to La Flèche Zoo, one of the most famous in France, for an immersive experience of fascinating biodiversity. Whether you’re a couple, a group of friends or a family, you’re sure to enjoy a change of scenery.
At the end of the day, set up camp in one of the motorhome parks, ideal for a peaceful evening. A sunset stroll along the water’s edge provides the perfect transition to the rest of your journey.

Day 2 - Le Lude
Arrive in the morning at Le Lude, a charming little town dominated by its emblematic château, one of the last great châteaux still inhabited in the Loire Valley.
The visit immerses you in different architectural styles – from medieval to neo-classical – and promises a fascinating discovery, complemented by perfectly tended gardens where you can enjoy a stroll.
The nearby town centre invites you to take a gourmet break: traditional bakeries, friendly cafés, seasonal markets… everything you need to savour the local art of living.
At the end of the afternoon, you can set off again for Marçon, where you can stay at the Varennes campsite. En route, you can discover the archaeological site of Cherré, the railway rotunda at Montabon or go for a swim at the Marçon leisure centre.

Day 3 - La Chartre-sur-le-Loir
On your last day, head for La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, a charming riverside gem. The village has an enchanting bohemian atmosphere and a lively cultural scene, with artists’ studios, galleries, antique and second-hand shops…
Take a stroll through the narrow streets, discover the shops and sit on a terrace to make the most of this little setting. Nearby, you can visit the Maison du Tourisme et du Vignoble, which will give you an insight into the region’s characteristic vineyards.
A few kilometres away, take the opportunity to meet a winemaker, explore a cellar dug into the rock and taste unique wines, renowned for their finesse and freshness.A perfect stopover to round off your stay in style.
