Chambres et table d'hôtes LE VAUX JOUIN

An old farmhouse in the heart of the countryside, nestling in a small valley surrounded by woods and pastures, in a peaceful, bucolic setting, with a swimming pool available in fine weather. We offer two carefully renovated guest rooms, each with its own entrance completely separate from the rest of the house. Breakfast is included and served in the living room or garden until 10am. Sweet and savoury, everything is homemade using produce from our kitchen garden or local produce, most of which is organic. In the evening, a light meal can be served unexpectedly. My husband and I are both former chefs, and for several years we ran L'Arbre Jaune, a 40-seat restaurant in Paris. We moved into our new home 2 years ago and now offer our guests a table d'hôte dinner, evenings by prior arrangement only. La Table du Vaux Jouin welcomes you by the stove in winter or under the trees in fine weather. The unique menu changes with the seasons, with an emphasis on short circuits and local producers. The cellar offers a selection of natural wines, with a particular focus on local winegrowers. The cuisine is creative, simple and generous, just like at home, around a large convivial table.
