Description
Beaufort-en-Anjou Wind Orchestra
Conductor: Anthony LANGEREAU
For its 2026 Sainte Cécile concerts, the Beaufort-en-Anjou Wind Orchestra has chosen to take you on a journey through regions with a rich variety of musical influences. From Hispanic music to Celtic sounds, via Persian and klezmer influences, the musicians will delight your ears with melodies from the four corners of the globe. This journey will take on an unusual flavour thanks to the violin of Stéphane Tesnier (a teacher at the Baugeois-Vallée music school). He will perform as a soloist with the orchestra, playing John Glenesk Mortimer’s ‘The Song of the Sea’ and Georges Delerue’s ‘Concerto d’Adieu’.
We look forward to welcoming many of you to experience this journey through ‘COLOURS FROM ELSEWHERE’ together.
