Description

The church of St Etienne de Fougeré has an astonishing Tors bell tower. Its choir dates from the 13th century and is representative of Anjou's "Plantagenet" Gothic style. It is one of the most beautiful chevet in Anjou.
An open and welcoming church. Its origins date back to the 11th century. Graffiti on the outside walls date back to the late 11th and early 12th centuries. The church has been listed as a historic monument in its entirety since 1969.
