Listed as a historic monument and recently awarded a Michelin star, Baugé's apothecary is considered to be one of the finest in France, with a collection of over 650 jars and boxes with contents as mysterious as they are strange: dragon's blood, crayfish eyes, woodlouse powder, etc. will thrill the youngest visitors. In the large patients' room, discover the art of healing and the daily life of a hospital in the 17th century through objects from the period. Then admire the Baroque chapel and its double choir, before visiting the living quarters of the Hospitallers of Saint Joseph.
