Description
The Grand Lucé Agricultural Fair will take place from 21 to 24 August 2026, under the marquee on Rue du PAVOIS, in a festive, rural and circus-like atmosphere suitable for the whole family.
Le Grand Lucé is hosting its traditional Agricultural Show, a festive and popular event taking place from Friday to Monday. On the programme: a traders’ evening, a grand, colourful parade featuring floats and circus performers, exhibitors and show animals, family entertainment (mini-train shuttle service, pony and horse-drawn carriage rides, various demonstrations), dinner shows, a reception hosted by the local council, a ploughing competition, fireworks and dance evenings.

Friday:
7.30 pm: Shopkeepers’ Evening – balloon display and music by Le Grand Lucé
7.30 pm: Food and drink on the church square, provided by local shopkeepers
9.30 pm: Performance by the troupe “Les clowns au féminin”, sponsored by the Festival Committee
Saturday:
10.00 am: Opening of the Grand Chapiteau – arrival of exhibitors on the Comice parade ground, accompanied by the Comice animals
12.00 pm: Food and drink provided by the Comice Association (€15 per person, drinks not included)
2.00 pm: Comice parade – procession featuring the Musique du Grand Lucé, street performance by “Cie Karnavage”, batucada by “Cie Tambores”, floats and circus performers, starting from the church square
2.00 pm: Entertainment – mini-train shuttle service (every 30 minutes, last return journey at 5.30 pm), vintage car exhibition, photo opportunity, Full Contact demonstration, bouncy castles
3.30 pm: Visit by officials and prize-giving ceremony for exhibitors
6.00 pm: Reception hosted by the local council, with a brass band and glitter
8.00 pm: Dinner and show – cabaret evening hosted by the “Cenomane” theatre company, at the Gymnase on Rue de la Torchetterie (€28 per adult, €15 per child under 12, drinks not included)
Sunday:
08:00: Ploughing competition at ‘Bois Martin’, starting at 09:00
14:00: Comice parade – procession back from the Place de l’Église
2.00 pm: Entertainment – mini-train shuttle, pony rides for first-timers/horse-drawn carriage rides, juggling demonstrations, country dancing, full-contact martial arts and tap dancing, photo opportunity, “Le Grand Lucé d’Antan” exhibition, fire shows by “Mon Cirque à Moi”
7.30 pm: Social dinner at the sports hall accompanied by a circus show (€18 per adult, €10 per child under 12 – drinks not included)
11.00 pm: Fireworks display sponsored by the local council
11.30 pm: Dance evening with music by “Anim’Fiesta”
Monday:
1.45 pm: Closing parade – setting off from the sports hall for the traditional tour of the district
8.00 pm: Closing dinner featuring a country-style buffet at the Gymnasium, in gratitude to the volunteers and partners (€10 per adult, €8 per child under 12, drinks not included), followed by a dance evening with live music
