Description
Visit to the Abbaye de la Clarté-Dieu and revisit tales of yesteryear by the Elixir association - Fabienne Avisseau
The Abbaye de la Clarté-Dieu is a late Cistercian monastic foundation, dating from the middle of the 13th century, created ex-nihilo under the impetus of several great personalities. Plundered and burnt down during the Hundred Years' War and then restored, the Abbey suffered a second blow during the French Revolution. After extensive restoration work, the Abbey is now open to visitors and has been listed as a Historic Monument since 2011.
Revisiting tales of yesteryear ASSOCIATION ELIXIR
For over 15 years, Fabienne Avisseau has been bringing the art of storytelling to life with her lively, jubilant lyrics. Accompanied by her barrel organ, she revisits tales of yesteryear with a resolutely contemporary verve. Inspired by Marie Gaillard, a grandmother figure both unique and universal, she brings to life a vengeful korrigan, an irascible king, a young adventurer with a big heart and two eternal lovers. From ancient Brittany to ancient Greece, the journey wavers between wonder, poetry, tenderness and passion.
