Created on the springs of the Gandelin, this body of water is classified as a 2nd category fish farm and is a black-bass oriented product. This fish, highly prized by lure anglers, must be released regardless of its size. There are also plenty of cyprinid fish in the lake, making it very popular with jig and carp anglers. A carriage road provides access for vehicles around the lake and a number of fishing posts have been set up to make it easier for anglers to settle in. The site also has a shared fishing station accessible to people with reduced mobility. Picnic tables, children's games and relaxation areas are available for anglers and walkers.
