A session on foot for the adult and on horseback for the child to develop and improve communication with the help of equine mediation.
Observation, petting, brushing, horse care, games, acrobatics, courses, role-playing, talking, relaxation, walking, body movement, teaching or educational activities are just some of the activities that can be carried out during the sessions.
Example of a typical session:
- A personalised welcome where we express the mood/emotions of the day, what we would like to work on during the session, the objective or the problem - Choice of horse to accompany the session.
- Dressing and care of the horse
- Activity with the horse
- Return of the horse to its meadow with its friends - Debriefing of the session, what we liked, what we understood and how it will help us in our daily lives.
Equine mediation aims to help people manage their emotions (anger, sadness, anxiety, etc.) so that they can draw on the resources they need to overcome occasional or long-lasting difficulties and find the tools they need to live in harmony.
It is very effective for people who find it difficult to verbalise their emotions.
The horse encourages verbal and non-verbal communication and raises awareness.
Equine mediation offers a space for free speech, in fact the horse does not judge, the horse invites us to be authentic and calm, the horse knows how to decipher who we are and with him we can free ourselves and reveal ourselves. The horse is the true mirror of ourselves and invites us to let go, to become aware of our true nature, our true expectations, what we need to live in perfect harmony with ourselves.
