Fishing in the Loir Valley
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, the Vallée du Loir offers a wide variety of locations to suit all types of fishing: spearfishing, predator fishing, night carp fishing, float-tube fishing or family fishing. Here, everyone can find their ideal spot, from the banks of the Loir to the many developed lakes.
There are also a number of specially dedicated courses and lakes, such as the fishing lake at La Monnerie in La Flèche and Lac des Varennes in Marçon, which is open all year round and very popular with anglers for its facilities and range of card options.
In the Vallée du Loir, a number of courses have been awarded the “Passion” label:
- Passion” course for the Mansigné carpodrome and the Rougeraie lake at La Chartre-sur-le-Loir.
- Family” courses for the Chateau du Fort des Salles lake in Mayet and the Mansigné leisure centre.
