For this third edition of the summer workshop at Moulins de Paillard, Jérôme Andrieu is offering a research workshop combining choreographic creation and the production of dance videos.

In this age of digital technology and robotic camera systems, the filmed images we watch are perfectly fluid, detached from the laws of physics and the body that produces them. This workshop explores a different approach: reintroducing gesture, presence and fragility into the act of filming.
Together, the participants will invent a choreographic approach to the image, in which the camera becomes a dance partner, revealing behind each movement the human vibration that sustains it.
