Cycle d'initiation à la botanique

Would you like to learn about botany and how to recognise different plant species? Join Antoine and Élodie, botanists at the CPIE, for a training course.

After an initial theory session in the classroom, you'll head out into the field to identify different seasonal species and practise your identification skills.

This three-session cycle offers an introduction to botany and the use of identification guides. Participants will learn to recognise the main plant identification criteria and to find their way around the major plant families. The outings will take place in both dry and wet environments to discover the diversity of flora and the adaptations of species to different
ecological contexts.
Practical information:
As the aim is to provide training, priority will be given to those who wish to take part in all the sessions. The meeting place will be communicated to you once you have registered.
