Fête des jardiniers au châtau du Lude

For the 30th year, the Fête des Jardiniers is bringing garden lovers together.
In the splendid gardens of the Château du Lude, some forty exhibitors will gather for a weekend to showcase their wares to the public.
The nurseries and horticulturists will be showcasing all the garden essentials: roses, ornamental plants, trees and shrubs, fruit trees, rockery plants, succulents and cacti, and carnivorous plants.
Craftspeople will be exhibiting garden furniture, birdhouses, flower pots, various garden decorations and plant ivory jewellery.
You'll also find gardening equipment, tools, gloves and hats, and specialists on hand to offer advice on grafting workshops and garden coaching.
The vegetable garden is also open for visitors to discover.
Various workshops have been specially designed for them, including an introduction to planting and creating ceramic flowers.
Local products are also on show, including honeys, organic sheep's and cow's cheeses, vinegars, hydrolats and infusions of aromatic and medicinal plants.
And for those staying for the day, there are refreshment points in the gardens.
