Homère sur mesure

To rediscover The Iliad is to embark on a journey towards the brutality of absurd and insoluble battles, ruled by gods who were themselves bewildered. It's to see armies after armies, ships after ships, surging cohorts of the colourful peoples who fought for Troy. It means witnessing the incessant twists and turns of a history as unpredictable as the winds...
Thanks to Emmanuel Lascoux, a marvellous interpreter of Homeric tales, and the Offrandes team of performers, the students in this ninth Académie de l'Ensemble Offrandes were able to imagine the echoes.

This translator of the Odyssey and the Iliad (P.O.L) is back in Paillard! In 2023, at the invitation of Martin Moulin, he came to enchant the participants in the annual course organised by the Moulins de Paillard with the Loir-Lucé-Bercé inter-municipal music school.

Les Moulins de Paillard
For 15 years, our non-profit association has been supporting projects in all areas of the arts. Recognised as one of the Ateliers de fabrique artistique, Paillard has a number of missions, including the production and dissemination of contemporary works. Located on the banks of the River Loir in a former 18th-century paper mill, Paillard offers a contemporary programme of exhibitions, choreographies, concerts and conferences. The residence offers artists and researchers a working environment that is both industrial and bucolic, in Poncé-sur-le-Loir, Loir-en-Vallée. Les Moulins de Paillard is supported by the Ministère de la Culture - Drac Pays de la Loire, the Département de la Sarthe and the Communauté de communes Loir-Lucé-Bercé.
