  • The Prytanée National Militaire is one of six lycées de la Défense in France. This educational institution was founded in 1604 by King Henry IV and entrusted to the Jesuits with the aim of "instructing young people and making them love the sciences, honour and virtue, so that they are capable of serving the public".

    Concert by the soprano Katalin VAMOSI, a renowned soloist who will bring her talent and sensitivity to a varied programme of sacred music accompanied by the titular organist Mr POTTIER Joseph.
    Adult admission €15.00 Children under 12 free
    The concert is scheduled to last one and a half hours, with an interval during which a glass of Crémant de Saumur will be offered.



    Authorised sites for the visit: the Salle d'Honneur, the Salle des Généraux, the Peristyle, the library, the Espace Guillaumat, the Espace Taupenot, the museum area, the equestrian section, the formal gardens, the Musée du Souvenir and the Church of St Louis.

    The site is a military enclosure. Markings are put in place to delimit authorised areas.
    Identification is required to enter the site.
    Access is free of charge.
    Access to the gravel and cobbled courtyard of honour may be difficult for people with reduced mobility. Some of the rooms to be visited are on the first floor, without a lift.

    Saturdays from 1pm to 6pm last admission 5.30pm
    Sunday from 10am to 5.30pm last admission at 5pm
