La Maison des Coteaux

La Maison des Coteaux is the ideal place to relax, unwind, recharge your batteries, get together with family or friends and discover all the tourist attractions of the Sarthe and the Vallée du Loir.
For the record, this farm, which belonged to my great-grandparents, was divided up around 80 years ago. I was able to reunite it recently (which was my mum's dream).
My house welcomes you with :
Ground floor: entrance hall / fitted kitchen (induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, table and chairs for 4, crockery and cooking utensils for 4) / large, bright living room, wooden ceiling beams, large corner sofa (non-convertible), fireplace with wood burner (not functional, no open fires), dining area for 4 to 6 with table / separate WC / bathroom with washbasin and shower / one double bedroom with 140x190 double bed.
1st floor: large landing leading to 2 bedrooms, each with 1 single bed (90x190).
Outside: detached house, not adjoining, in a quiet location with large private grounds planted with grass, trees and flowers / not overlooked / lovely terrace with views of the countryside and surrounding wildlife.

Washing machine, BBQ, garden furniture (table, chairs, parasol).
Secure private parking.
Electric heating: extra charge.

La Maison des Coteaux is about 50 km from Tours, a medieval city, and 50 km from Le Mans, famous for its "24h du Mans", and 1 km from the small village of Chahaignes, nestling in the heart of the Jasnières vineyards, where you will find a grocery shop, a restaurant (Le Silex) and a bakery/pastry shop.
The house is 9 km from La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, a charming village on the banks of the Loir and Château-du-Loir, and close to Lac des Varennes in Marçon (lake/bathing lake/multi-activity leisure centre) and the magnificent Bercé forest nearby (great walks/cycle rides, mushroom picking...).

All around, the Loir Valley invites you to discover many other things: wine (Coteaux du Loir or Jasnières, my favourite!), cycle paths, including one near the house (véloroute la Vallée du Loir à Vélo V47), castles, troglodyte houses (Maison de Ronsard, Troo, Montoire...).
