Octobre Rose - Journée Sportive et solidaire

To mark Pink October, Durtal town council and local associations are joining forces to organise an afternoon of sport, festivities and solidarity in aid of the Maine-et-Loire League Against Cancer.

Throughout the afternoon, young and old alike will be able to take part in a variety of sporting activities, friendly entertainment and awareness-raising workshops.
The aim? Move together to advance research into breast cancer and support those affected by the disease.

Programme of sporting activities:
2.00 pm: Zumba (La Jeanne d'Arc)
3.00 pm: 5 km walk & 10 km run (Courir à Durtal)
3.30pm: Pilates (La Jeanne d'Arc)
4.00 pm: Human chain (J'aime Durtal)
5.00pm: Dance (La Jeanne d'Arc)

And all afternoon (2-6pm): Stands for associations, prevention & quizzes, face painting for adults and children, hairdressing workshop, sewing workshop (pre-registration required using the QR Code on the poster).

Whether you're a sports fan, a curious person, a volunteer at heart or simply a supporter, come along and take part in this day of sharing and commitment. Every step counts, and so does every gesture.

Participation fee: €5 (Access to all sporting activities - all proceeds donated to the Ligue contre le cancer)
