The La Monnerie leisure centre offers a wide range of activities, with fishing taking pride of place. This body of water, classified as a second category fish site, is a carnivorous fishing product (no-kill pike). With its abundance of fish, the lake is popular with pike, carp and predator anglers. Float tube fishing is permitted, as is night fishing for carp from 1 January to the last day of February and from the 3rd Sunday in September to 31 December. A major fishing venue, this lake frequently hosts competitions, some of which are national in scope. This pleasant setting offers picnic tables, relaxation areas and leisure and sports activities for all ages.
