Did you know that dead trees are essential to the life of the forest?
Take a guided walk and discover these little-known contributors to biodiversity: trees that have fallen to the ground, hollow trunks, cracked branches... all micro-habitats teeming with life!

You'll learn more about the life cycle of trees, how wood decomposes and the many species - insects, fungi, birds and mammals - that find food, shelter and breeding space there.

Look for windfalls, observe candles, identify cavities and signs of life... A fascinating immersion in the forest ecosystem, to share with family and friends.
